The Tasting Room at Galway Rock is an open and versatile space that offers unlimited possibilities for a truly memorable event. With buttery wood ceilings, airy spaces, and big picture windows that let in the natural light and offer views all the way to Vermont, this one-of-a-kind space will be the perfect backdrop for your event.
Shower Room Rental – $900
You’ll love the experience at Galway Rock. Our room rental is packed with freebies to make your special day effortless and carefree. We strive to be extremely transparent with our pricing and what to expect from your experience while you are our guest at Galway Rock.
Our room rental is for four hours including one hour of setup and three hours of event and clean up time. You will have exclusive access to the tasting room and patio for the duration of your event. Our events are booked at 9 am with an event start time of 10 am, or any time after 6 pm with a start time of 7 pm or later. Additional time may be added on for evening and week day events.
The tasting room comfortably seats up to 60 guests for a traditional event, or more when a cocktail style event is planned. For catering and beverage services please check out this page.

No Catering Requirement
At Galway Rock we know the price of food can be the biggest expense for your event. That is why we do not require you to purchase food from us for your event. We do have many delicious and affordable catering options starting at $5 per person for your convenience if you’d like.
You will not be required to meet a minimum spend on any part of your event. Many venues will require their hosts to spend a minimum amount with them on food and beverage during their event on top of the room rental. This is not the case at Galway Rock. The options on any of our private events menus are options and not a requirement.
**Due to New York State Liquor Laws we are unable to allow outside beverages. All beverage packages must be purchased from Galway Rock Winery.**
Selfie Station – Included
Photographs with your guests are some of the most cherished outcomes of a great party. When you throw a party at Galway Rock we will include a custom selfie station with digital photo-strips of each “photo booth” experience emailed, or texted directly to your guests from our photo booth app with your customized event theme.
Tables and Chairs – Included
Guest tables and chairs, buffet tables, gift table, and wine barrels are included with your rental at Galway Rock. Choose a seating option for your guests from one of the choices below.
Round Banquet Tables
Round banquet tables are a must for more formal events. The tables will be draped in floor length white linen at no additional charge. Our round tables seat up to 10 guests and are surrounded by our signature black “grapevine” chairs.
When you are looking for a more chill vibe with lots of mingling we recommend skipping the banquet tables and opting for our tasting room tables. We have an assortment of square and rectangular white washed live edge maple-top tables surrounded by our signature black “grapevine” chairs.
For a fun cocktail style vibe with lots of mingling we can remove the tables and chairs and bring in wine barrels for your guests to congregate around. This is a great option for engagement parties, corporate events, and birthday parties where you want the crowd to spend more time hanging out and less time in their chairs.
At Galway Rock there is no china requirement – a big savings compared to trendy and popular barn venues. You may bring your own disposable plates, or choose from any of our place setting offerings. If you choose to have Galway Rock provide place settings, we will set the table for your event before you arrive.
Fancy Disposable China
$1.70 per guest
Choose from rose gold, gold, or silver double rimmed disposable china place settings and matching cutlery. Includes 10” dinner plate, 7” salad/appetizer plate, 7” dessert plate, fork, knife, spoon, and white napkins with matching metallic detail.
Eco Place Setting
$2.60 per guest
Our Eco place settings are 100% compostable and composed of eco friendly palm leaf plates and bamboo cutlery. Package includes 10” dinner plate, 7” salad/appetizer plate, 7” dessert plate, fork, knife, and spoon with white napkins
$14.60 per guest
China place settings are natural white china plates. Package includes a 10” dinner plate, 7” dessert plate, flatware, and your color choice linen napkin.
$300 + $6 per mini wine bottle favor
If you would prefer to skip all the planning and decorating so you can just sit back and relax, we have a no-stress shower option at Galway Rock Winery. Simply tell us the number of guests you will have and pick your food, beverage, and place setting options from our catering menu. We will take care of the custom signs, baby’s breath floral centerpieces, and mini wine bottle party favors for you.
When you arrive the tables will be set, framed signs will be artfully placed around the room at your direction, mini wine bottle favors (or custom favors) will be at each place setting, and the room will be filled with overflowing vases of classic baby’s breath and a beautiful floral aroma.
