Old World Vineyard

Our initial vineyard began with a quarter-acre plot in Galway, consisting of several French-American hybrid varietals.  Planted at high densities in the Old World style, these plants serve three main purposes: first, they are an experimental test bed to gauge which varietals will produce best in our microclimate; second, reduced fruit yields from these vines will be harvested at peak maturity to produce many of our premium-quality reserve wines; and third, the high planting density allows us to harvest a large amount of cuttings that are used to populate our expanding land holdings and fuel the experimental hydroponic production of vines and wines.
